Terms and Conditions

1) All participants are required to register via the website prior to the closing date.  Brisk walkers must purchase their tickets at one of the designated community centres.

 

2) All participants are required to report by 30 minutes at the Assembly Area (Former Basketball Court) opposite the HSBC Volunteer Hub at Pulau Ubin.  Reporting time for brisk walkers is 7.00am at the designated community centres.

 

3) The registration may close earlier if the maximum number of registration has reached.

4) Participants must be at least 18 years of age on the day of registration.

​

5) This is a non-competitive walk, run and ride. All participants are encouraged to wear the event tee and at all times' wear the wristband for identification on the event day.

​

6) All participants are required to take the Bumboat from Changi Point Ferry Terminal to Pulau Ubin (Boat ride : $3/- per person - single trip). Brisk walkers boat rides are included in the ticket. Runners' boat rides are at your own expense.

​

7) Runners are strongly encouraged to take public transport or car pool as there are limited parking lots at Changi Point Ferry Terminal. Do bring your own bottle or hydration bag (BYOB) to play your part for the environment. No bottled water or cups will be available at the start/end point.  Water dispenser will be available for fill-up or refill of water. 

​

8) Runners and bikers must come in proper running attire ( ie. singlet/tees, shorts, running shoes). Brisk walkers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and covered shoes.  Runners and Bikers not in proper running attire will not be allowed to join in the run for their own safety. 

​

9) Do take your own breakfast before the run as breakfast is NOT available on the island.  

​

10) Light baggage deposit is available at the start point. The organiser shall not be held responsible for any loss of items. All participants are encouraged to travel light and bring along all valuables with you during the run. * Kindly note that there is no Halal food sold on the island.

​

11) First aiders are available along the routes and should you be unwell and need attention, please approach them for assistance.  Do not join the run or walk if you are unwell on the day.

​

12) During the walk, run or ride, kindly do not disturb the wild animals and the wild nature on the island.  

​

13) Do not litter on the island and you are encouraged to bring your trash with you to the main island for disposal but if you need to discard the waste, please kindly throw them in the trash bins.

​

14) Participants are encouraged to bring along shades, inspect repellent, caps, disposable rain coat in the event of wet weather.

​

15) The organiser reserves the right to delay or cancel the event due to wet weather or haze as per the guidelines base on the authorities.

​

16) By registering for the event, participants agree and idemnify the organizer and their partners from responsibility for any injuries sustained and any loss of personal belonging during the event by the participants.

​

17) The whole event is expected to end at 12.00pm.
